NYC EVENTS: Baroness Kishwer Falkner – Wed Mar 7, 2007

Kishwer Falkner (Baroness Falkner of Margravine) is a Liberal Democratic Peer in the House of Lords. She is the Liberal Democrats’ Spokesman for Communities and Local Government. The first Muslim frontbencher in Britain, she takes an active interest in foreign affairs and civil liberties, community relations, and integration. She is currently on sabbatical in the United States, where she has just completed a Fellowship at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
